According to the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, a professional organizer uses tested principles and expertise to enhance the lives of clients. By designing custom organizing systems and teaching organizing skills, they help individuals and businesses take control of their surroundings, their time, their paper piles, and their lives! They listen to the needs of their clients, offer solutions, implement them, and educate clients on ways to stay organized.
What is the best way to get organized?
One organizing system does not fit all. Experts in the organizing industry believe that different personality types, work styles, and environmental factors affect which solutions will work for each individual. A professional organizer will help you find the system that works best for you in each room/space of concern.
Do I have to be there while the work is being done?
Most clients work along side the professional organizer as items are sorted and organized.
Can a professional organizer help me get rid of unwanted items?
Absolutely. Put it Simply Organizing, LLC specializes in identifying the most environmentally friendly way practicable to remove unwanted items. We will assist you with donating and/or recycling unwanted items whenever practical.
I have valuable items and confidential documents. Can I trust a professional organizer with these?
Members of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, including Put it Simply Organizing, LLC, pledge to maintain confidentiality with all client information. We serve our clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity, and treat them and their valuables with respect and courtesy.
Truthfully, I am embarrassed to have anyone see my mess.
We take our confidentiality pledge seriously. We keep client information confidential and do not reveal information about our clients to others. Our approach is non-judgmental and supportive.
Once the professional organizer leaves, I fear I will return to my old habits.
Professional organizers assist with the set up of organization systems. The customized systems will be designed to minimize maintenance. Before we leave, the other part of our job is to teach you how to maintain that system. However, it is common for clients to ask for additional assistance with maintenance, tips, or changing the system based on new circumstances.
